Facebook on mobile download: Stay connected with your friends and family anytime, anywhere

You can download a video from Facebook as long as it has been set to public. Windows, Mac, and Android users just need to copy and modify the video link, while iPhone users have to use a third-party app like MyMedia.

To download a Facebook video on an Android device, tap the three-dot icon on the video and Copy Link. Then paste the link into a browser and replace the www with mbasic. Next, long-tap the video, and select Download video.

To download a Facebook video to your iPhone, tap Share on the video and then Copy Link. Then use the MyMedia app to go to fbdown.net, paste the link, and tap Download the file. Next, go to the Media tab and tap Save to Camera Roll.

Downloading Facebook videos on mobile is a whole different kettle of fish, and while there are apps that claim to do it, a far simpler way is to use the website FBDown.net (opens in new tab). This works on Android and iOS, but you'll need to download the Firefox browser (opens in new tab) on an iPhone or iPad, as the FBDown.net site doesn't load properly in Safari. If you own a Samsung device, skip down to the next section.

5. On the next page, tap the link to download in either Normal or High Quality. This will impact the file size and how much space the video takes up on your mobile device.

If you own a Samsung device, you can download videos from Facebook without having to use a separate app or website. We tested this method on a Z Fold 4 and it worked perfectly, although it didn't work on the Google Pixel or OnePlus devices we also tried to test it on.

Now you're familiar with how to download videos from Facebook, you may also want to learn how to hide Likes on Facebook or how to make yourself anonymous on Facebook. Or if you think emojis are so last year, check out how to make your own Facebook avatar.

If the idea of downloading your Facebook photos one by one sounds like too much work, never fear. There is a way to download all of your photos from Facebook at once. You can download all your Facebook history and data (including pictures) on your iPhone through the Facebook app.

The downloaded file will be added to your iCloud Drive on your iPhone. There, press on the ZIP file and navigate through the folders (which will be named after your Facebook photo albums) to access your photos. From there, you have two options to save them to your Camera Roll:

Flipper aims to be your number one companion for mobile app development on iOS and Android. Therefore, we provide a bunch of useful tools including a log viewer, interactive layout inspector, and network inspector.

Flipper is built as a platform. In addition to using the tools already included, you can create your own plugins to visualize and debug data from your mobile apps. Flipper takes care of sending data back and forth, calling functions, and listening for events on the mobile app.

Both Flipper's desktop app and native mobile SDKs are open-source and MIT licensed. This enables you to see and understand how we are building plugins, and of course join the community and help improve Flipper. We are excited to see what you will build on this platform.

These steps are for saving every single photo. If there's a single album you want to download, or just a few pictures, these directions are a bit much. It's easy to save select pictures or albums instead; follow the steps at the bottom of this page for those directions.

To save your own Facebook videos, go to More > Videos > Your Videos and click the pencil icon. Choose the quality, and then click Download under the More menu. To download other people's Facebook videos, you'll need a third-party app.

You can grab your own, saved Facebook Live streams through the Your Videos page. For other people's, use an app like Friendly for Facebook, which gives you download options in the Share menu.

With FB mobile you can upload pictures and videos from your gallery. You can choose to add content as a status or into one of your photo albums. Once the image is uploaded you can crop them and add beautiful filters.

Facebook is a way to stay in touch with friends and family. It has almost all the features one needs. But, a few years back, it separated its messaging features from its main mobile app. One must have the Facebook messenger app installed to check messages. But not everyone is keen on using the Facebook messenger app. Some are still determined not to install the app.

Facebook splitting its messenger features into different apps is a way for them to spread widely on smartphones. However, users are still not fully inclined toward the messenger app. There are ways to check Facebook messages without a Facebook messenger. But of all the highlighted ways, the AirDroid notification syncing app is the best option. The app is available for download for free. Click here to get started on it!

Facebook allows you to share GIFs with your friends. But how to download GIFs from Facebook? This post covers how to save a GIF from Facebook on desktop and mobile. (To convert video to GIF, try MiniTool MovieMaker.)

Zoe works as editor at MiniTool for many years, writing articles about video editing skills. She has published hundreds of articles about video editing, video conversion, video downloading, audio editing and photo editing. She also writes some articles about YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

What about all the people you asked to be your friend who ignored or deleted your request? Facebook keeps track of that. Go to facebook.com/friends/requests(Opens in a new window) for a list of the people who hate you. Or maybe they just don't check Facebook that much. Probably both.

Want to know if someone is logged into your Facebook account without your permission? Navigate to Settings > Security and Login and look for Where You're Logged In. Here, you will find all your active Facebook log-ins from desktop or mobile devices, even across apps (like the Facebook app vs. the Messenger app). It will (usually) provide data on the location, browser, and device. If something seems fishy, log out from individual devices (click the three-dot menu > Log Out) or all devices at once (scroll to the bottom and click Log Out Of All Sessions). This comes in handy if you log in to a friend's laptop or a public computer and forget to log out.

Facebook makes it next to impossible to go back and find something that you whizzed past during a recent scroll. Don't lose that tasty-looking recipe or interesting article; save it for later. Tap the ellipsis menu in the top right of any post and select Save link or Save to watch later from the drop-down menu. This will send the link to your Saved folder. Where's your Saved folder? You actually won't see it until you save something. Then a little purple Saved ribbon appears in your left-hand favorites bar on the desktop; tap the hamburger menu on mobile. Saved Posts don't expire but they might disappear if the original poster deletes it. If you're a prolific saver, you can group your saved items into Collections to keep them organized.

Are you concerned you spend too much time on Facebook? On the mobile app, you can now see exactly how long you spend on the site each day. Go to the hamburger menu > Settings & Privacy > Your Time on Facebook. The bar chart under See Time will display how many minutes per day you were on during the last week; swipe left to see Daytime vs. Nighttime usage, and total number of visits. Under Manage Your Time, set a Daily Time Reminder to be notified when you've been on the app a certain amount of time, and create a Quiet Mode schedule to mute push notifications.

Everyone on Facebook will die. Eventually. In anticipation of this unavoidable truth, Facebook lets you name a legacy contact(Opens in a new window) who will manage your account after you are gone. Your legacy contact can write a pinned post for your profile, respond to new friend requests that come after you have passed, and update your profile and cover photo (in case your final image is you in an ironic SpongeBob Halloween costume). They can even download your Facebook data, minus any messages you sent/received.

You can also choose to have your account deleted after you die. Facebook will send you an annual reminder to check your legacy contact, unless you turn that option off. Go Settings > General > Memorialization Settings > Edit on desktop or Settings > Personal Information > Manage Account on mobile to select or change your legacy contact. If you're a legacy contact for someone who's passed away, use this Memorialization Request form(Opens in a new window) to tell Facebook about the person and ask to get their account memorialized.

Do you hate it when a video starts playing automatically? Kill that "feature." Go to Settings > Videos(Opens in a new window) and set Auto-Play Videos to Off. Stat. You won't regret it. If you do it on the desktop, it also turns off auto-play on your mobile devices, and vice versa. 2ff7e9595c
